AI Workshop for Visual Professionals

A hands-on AI course for visual creators who want to work cinematically with AI

AI is already part of the visual landscape. The question is not whether to engage with AI — but how.

In this workshop, we work with AI as a creative and professional tool that strengthens idea development, visual language, and production — without compromising aesthetics, storytelling, or identity.

The focus is not on trends, but on understanding, intention, and quality.

What You Will Gain from the Workshop

Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. We explore new tools with a critical eye, combine innovation with experience, and turn emerging technology into meaningful visual storytelling.

This is not about shortcuts or automation — it is about craft, intention, and creative ownership. About shaping ideas with precision, sensitivity, and depth.

Let’s create something meaningful together.

AI Music Video – Visual Storytelling

This music video is created at the intersection of technology and aesthetics.

The images are generated with AI, guided by human intention, composition, and rhythm.

It is not about replacing creativity — but about expanding it.

In the workshop, we work with AI as a visual instrument:

light, movement, atmosphere, and storytelling — structured and shaped through vision and experience.

This video is an example of how AI can be used consciously, poetically, and cinematically.

AI as an Artistic Tool

The workshop is based on relevant AI tools such as Midjourney and Freepik.

The focus is not on learning as many features as possible, but on understanding when and how these tools make sense in professional visual work.

AI is used as a supplement — not as a replacement for creative thinking.

Format and Outcome

This course is built as a practical, dialogue-based process that starts with you — your current skill level and the direction you want to grow in.

We move back and forth between hands-on image creation and conversations about intention, meaning, and expression. This way, both your technical abilities and your artistic direction develop side by side. Throughout the process, you’ll receive ongoing feedback to help you clarify what you want your images to communicate, and how to translate that into a consistent visual practice.

We’ll work directly in Midjourney and Freepik (AI Image Generator), and you’ll learn how to guide these tools with purpose and intention, rather than generating images at random. The focus is on transforming ideas into images with coherence, atmosphere, and identity.

By the end of the course, you’ll leave with a personal project or image series, a stronger visual sensibility, and a clearer understanding of your own artistic voice.

Visual Narratives Created During the Workshop

The images shown here are examples of what can emerge when we use AI as an artistic instrument. The visual approach is one I’ve developed myself — and it’s something I share in the course. Not to be copied, but as a set of tools and working methods you can adapt to your own expression.

We’ll work with mood, rhythm, color, and presence within the image — and also with what happens between the images: the resonance, the quiet, the unspoken.

The aim isn’t to recreate references, but to build a personal visual language where subject, light, and texture allow something internal to take external form.

The result often becomes image series that feel more like small narratives than individual pieces. Images that could be memories, dreams, impressions — works that continue to unfold each time you return to them.

Here, we don’t use AI as a shortcut – We use it as an instrument. And when used with intention, the images begin to breathe.

AI as a Visual Language

AI can be used as a creative language — not just as a tool.
These videos show how imagery, rhythm, and atmosphere can be shaped with AI
and become part of a coherent visual narrative.

Instructor

The course is led by Yassine Anthonisen Lazib – photographer, editor, and filmmaker with more than 20 years of experience in visual storytelling. His work ranges from large-scale commercial productions and documentaries to artistic and personal film projects, and he has created content for clients such as B&O, DR, Netflix, and HBO.

Yassine’s approach is calm, reflective, and dialogue-based. He works with light, composition, and atmosphere as the foundation of the image, and places emphasis on understanding the person or process he is working with. The aim is never to impose a style, but to help you develop a visual language that feels authentic and sustainable over time.

Since 2022, Yassine and Newport Film have worked actively with AI tools as part of the creative process. Not as shortcuts, but as a new way of thinking about image-making and visual identity. This work led to the creation of the AI Learning Studio, where AI is made accessible to both professionals and beginners—as a tool that can be guided, shaped, and used with intention.

The course is built on two core strengths: a strong sensitivity to the human and artistic aspects of image-making, and a clear understanding of how emerging technologies can be used with purpose and meaning.

  • Sofie, Photogrpher

“This course helped me find direction in my images. I had worked with AI before, but it only became meaningful here. It wasn’t about the tools—it was about learning to see. It changed my visual expression.”

  • Mira, Visuel Artist

“Yassine doesn’t just teach the tools—he teaches you to use them with intention. This is the first time I’ve felt that AI isn’t taking over my expression, but supporting it.”

  • Daniel, Graphic Designer

“The best part was that everything moved at my pace. There was room for my questions, my hesitation, and my ideas. I left with a series I’m genuinely proud of.”

  • Amina, Artist and Illustrator

“I thought I was coming to learn prompts. But I left with a much clearer sense of what I want to do with my images in general—in AI and in the camera. It felt like something opened.”

  • Laura, Photographer and Visual Artist

“I was surprised by how important the conversations were. It wasn’t just about ‘pressing the button.’ We worked with what images do—and why they feel right or wrong. It was genuinely valuable.”

  • Emil, Photographer

“It gave me a way to work with AI where I can still recognize myself in the images. Before, it felt a bit random—now there’s direction and a sense of ease in the process.”

My Approach to AI and Visual Creation

My own work often leans toward the organic and sensory—images with stillness, texture, depth, and a mood that lingers. But that’s my reference point. In the course, the focus is on finding your way of seeing—your tone, your visual voice. The goal is not to give you a style, but to help you develop one that feels genuinely your own.

I’ll show you how to use AI as a tool that you guide, so it supports your intention rather than pulling you in a direction that doesn’t feel right. You’ll learn both the technical techniques and the artistic decision-making, as well as how to stay connected to an expression that comes from something personal.
